Dream House # 9

I've been looking at dreamy houses all week. And this one, I couldn't resist to share.

Situated in Mosman, just north of the city, this house is a dream. Literally my dream. When James and I discuss what we would do "if we ever won lotto', he describes a big house on acres of land and so on. Me? I picture my house on or near the water because it is my favourite element and I feel drawn to it, calmer near it.

And IF we ever win lotto, we can have both houses, one in the county and one in the city.

This amazing house with 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms is situated on 1800sqm of land which is a HUGE piece of land in the city. Imagine the pool parties, imagine the sunsets and sunrises. This is one special home.

Dream House # 8

My recent addiction to Downton Abbey has led me to browsing real estate websites for houses in the country.

This one ticked all the boxes. No price listed so you guess is as good as mine. I'd say you would need to win lotto!!

Built in 1884, this gorgeous 6 bedrooms, 5 bathroom house on 12 acres of land which also includes guest house is nothing short of magnificent.

I'll start dreaming...

Dream House # 7

It's been awhile since my last dream house post. I've been too busy scouting bathroom tiles and choosing paints for my new house.

This 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom, 2 car garage apartment is situated in Milson's Point in Sydney. Some of the features include:
  • Private lift run from security parking with vast atrium upon entry
  • Open plan living and dining, gourmet kitchen with Miele appliances
  • Bespoke remote controlled blind system offering complete privacy
  • Reflection pool provides tranquil backdrop to master bedroom
  • Master ensuite with luxurious freestanding Travertine bath tub
  • Three double bedrooms, separate home office and vast library
  • Protected panoramic views of the bridge, harbour, Bradfield Park

No price is listed, just make an offer and it could be yours!

Although I'm completely over apartment living in Sydney, I could DEFINATELY live here. Imagine the parties you could have. Annual NYE parties to watch fireworks. Swimming laps every day at North Sydney pool. Walking your kids up to some of the best schools in the State. Life would be grand. Expensive, but grand.

Dream House # 6

This French farmhouse style estate is located the heart of Burradoo in the Southern Highlands.

Asking price is 3.9 million. Just under 3 acres of land, this property features a main house, a guest cottage and a gorgeous conservatory overlooking the vast gardens. Built in 1888, I’m sure the house is full of history.

I love the long driveway and room for stables too.

Dream House # 5

$4.6 million is cool change for this amazing 100 acre property in Bowral.

Features include a set up for horses and cattle, a summerhouse nestled into the superb mature garden setting with cascading water feature to a large lily pond, a clay tennis court and 13 paddocks!

All I can say is wow.

I would have Gatsby parties here. I would play tennis and sip pink lemonade. I would ride horses and grow my own veggies. I would never, ever leave.

Dream House # 4

Inspirationally designed by Virginia Kerridge and finalist in the 2009 RAIA Wilkinson award, this architectural masterpiece fuses beachside living with contemporary elegance. Enjoying a north east aspect, sweeping ocean, beach and lagoon views.

$2.2 million is the asking price for this amazing house in Wamberal, on the Central Coast.

Features include 5 bedrooms, Japanese influenced gardens, sleek lines, split level design, commercial construction and high ceilings.

I love the suburb of Wamberal. It's right next door to Terrigal. But just away from the action and hustle. Recent renovations of the SLSC has really helped the beach front suburb and cute cafes keep popping open all the time.

I would be VERY happy to call this house my home. Sigh.

Dream House # 3

Set upon 40.97 acres of lush paddocks, serene palm groves, and native vegetation that Magpies, Yellow-Bellied Gliders, Tiny Feather Gliders, Bandicoots, Kookaburras, Kingfishers, frogs and small marsupials also call home, this wonderful property sets the benchmark for native Australian-living.

This amazing pod house is located in the lovely coastal town of MacMasters Beach on the Central Coast.

The property operates off the grid for total independence. Powered by cost efficient solar electricity that further enhances the propertys sustainable credentials, there is also a back-up diesel generator that automatically starts when necessary.

Consists of a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom floor plan. You could always add on another pod to the surrounding grounds.

This is definately a dream house. I love the idea of being so self sustainable. The location is fabulous too. Near the hustle of Terrigal and Erina, but near a lovely quiet beach town too.

This is going for auction in a few weeks. I'll be very interested to see what it sells for.
