Currently - The August Edition

Current Book (s): I have been reading the Sookie Stackhouse novels and I'm really into them. I've read 5 books in a month and just started 'All Together Dead' by Charlaine Harris.

Current Playlist: I have been listening to EVERYTHING lately and my playlist this month reflects that. Check out my current favourites.

• Maroon 5 - Misery. (I actually don't like Maroon 5 all that much, but this song is super cute and makes me want to dance in the Spring sun!)
• The Knife - Heartbeats. An oldish dance track that reminds me of festivals and summer.
• Sia - Breathe Me. This song moves me. I love Sia so very much.
• Timbaland - Apologize (feat. One Republic). Love this song. Great collaboration.
• Jimi Hendrix - All Along The Watchtower. Imagine seeing this song played live. Life changing music this stuff is.
• Genesis - Land of Confusion. This song is genius! 
• Sting - Englishman In New York. "Woahhh, I'm an alien. I'm a legal alien"... Awesome lyrics.

Current Shame - Inducing Guilty Pleasure: Sleeping when I can. Also, eating Abigail's leftover tiny teddies.


Current Colour: Red for love. White for hope. Blue for the Whitsundays.


Current Drink: Milk glorious milk. And water. Boring I know.


Current Food: Cruskits with cream cheese. Apples. Jatz. Pasta. Chicken Tacos.

Current Favourite Show: True Blood S3. Mad Men S4. Dexter S1. Keeping Up With the Kardashians (I know, I can't help myself!)

Current Wish list: Good weather for my Birthday getaway in 2 weeks, good health, good luck, Louis Vuitton Keepall bag.

Current Needs: More sleep and energy. A cleaning lady. A new trustworthy friend. My hair to grow fast. I cut it all off last week and I mildly regret it. Will grow it into a bob I think.


Current Triumphs: I can't reveal too much yet, but we may have found our dream home. Will keep you in the loop as soon as the purchase is confirmed. VERY EXCITING INDEED!!


Current Bane(s) of my Existence: Woolworths Home Shop. I thought we were friends, but you keep stuffing up my orders. Ergh.


Current Celebrity Crush: Anna Paquin. She is cute as a button and I'm jealous of her in this photo. Alot.

Current Indulgence: Purchases made at Lark, Dymocks and a very special Father's Day gift for James.


Current #1 Blessing: My Birthday last week was a lovely day and I wasn't as anxious as I usually am. I felt loved and had a great time.


Current Slang or Saying: "Bless you" since my hayfever is already giving me trouble!

Current Excitement: Heading to Qualia in the Whitsundays in 2 weeks for a couples getaway. Sleeping a huge King size bed, sleeping in, long breakfasts, swimming, reading my book in the sun... BLISS!

Current Mood: Excited. Relieved. Blessed.
